After years of one-price service at DJ Dekalb, I have changed my pricing policy.  I will strive to give you the very best value for your dollar while recognizing the need to meet your budget.  I am not the “cheapest” dj in town, nor am I the most expensive, but I do provide an outstanding value.  I will work with you to determine what you want your party to be, and the appropriate price for that party.  No matter what price we agree to, you will get my very best effort, every time!

 

With DJ Dekalb, I work the northern tier of counties in Illinois, into Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin.  “Market prices” vary widely in these areas, and my pricing depends on many factors including season, location, duration, services desired, etc.  Pricing starts at $800 for a basic, 5-hour, off-season party and can go as high as $4025 if you choose every one of the seven additional services that I offer, and if I price each of those services at the maximum per service (see chart).  I have yet to run across the $3000 reception, but it could happen!

 

Which brings me to my “Satisfaction Guaranteed” policy:  Because of the artistic nature of what I do, especially during the dance party, it is difficult to guarantee that any given individual is going to enjoy my show.  I am known for great, fun parties, and I will be dignified and formal when required, but of the thousands of people I entertain each year, I’m absolutely certain that at least some of them didn’t like something that I did!  I frequently get comments like “best reception I’ve ever been to” and “most fun I’ve ever had,” but you never know!

 

Though I use high-grade professional equipment, I also can not guarantee against mechanical failure, but I will have backup equipment with me and get you going again in a matter of minutes.

 

In summary, this is my guarantee to you:  If you do your part in helping me to plan the reception, I will do my absolute best to do exactly what you want done.  I will do my absolute best to provide a “fun” dance party.  I will do my absolute best to provide exceptional value for the dollars you have spent.  If you don’t agree that you got my very best effort, if you don’t agree that you got your money’s worth, if you don’t agree that I performed on each and every one of the items listed here, you can name any reasonable price, and I will refund the difference between that and the contract price, by check, on the spot.
